# Tokenomics & $DGZ Token

The $DGZ token is SEI DEGENZ in-game currency.\
\
It serves multiple purposes within the game’s ecosystem, enhancing both the gameplay experience and the economic model. \
\
$DGZ is earned by completing quests and battling and defeating enemies.

Once launched, the SEI DEGENZ marketplace will allow players to use $DGZ tokens to purchase a variety of in-game assets, including weapons, armour, and rare artifacts.

 The tokenomics of DGZ are designed to reward active participation and foster a vibrant community of players who are invested in the game’s success. 

* Each time a HERO NFT is minted, the contract will automatically burn a designated amount of DGZ tokens.
* Each time you complete a quest, such as winning a battle, the contract will mint $DGZ tokens as your reward.
